Pave Tack Pod Cooling

The PAVE TACK pod is an airborne targeting and laser designator system developed
by Ford Aerospace and Communication Corp., Aeronutronic Division, Newport
Beach, California. The Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) capability of PAVE
TACK allows day or night and adverse weather operation. The PAVE TACK system
is operational on F-4 and F-111 aircraft
The cooling system for PAVE TACK was developed, and produced by
Fairchild Controls Corporation.
The PAVE TACK environmental control system (ECS), installed among a dense
array of the customer's electronics, optics, power supplies, cables, computers
and laser components, consists of the following major subassemblies:

Motor Compressor and Refrigerant Controls Module (top left above)
